What we are looking for:

Medical Assistants (MA) and Medical Receptionists (MR) are the backbone of our clinics and instrumental to our success. We're looking for someone dedicated to providing the best patient care possible with a big emphasis on empathy. As a MA or MR you will be expected to execute a variety of daily support functions that are critical to providing quality care and ensuring our clinic runs smoothly. The ideal candidate should be totally comfortable demonstrating competency in all skills related to patient care. Bonus points if you’re great at making others smile!

What you'll do:


  • Maintain efficient patient flow, while supporting patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Collect and document patient information, clinical data, and other relevant details accurately and timely while ensuring patient confidentiality. 
  • Respond to care questions or complaints to immediately resolve.
  • Deliver patient care per provider orders, based on practice guidelines and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain and use principles of aseptic techniques and infection control standards. 
  • Practice strict adherence to all OSHA standards. 
  • Operate clinical equipment according to equipment guidelines. 
  • Perform time-sensitive delegated tasks. Not limited to requests for prescription refills, EHR alerts, and messages.
  • Order, stock, and maintain exam rooms and supply storage areas using par levels of supplies, medications, linens, forms, and equipment. Monitor expiration dates and act accordingly. 
  • Participate in staff meetings and provide constructive input for improvements and solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Greet, welcome, and register patients while working to minimize and solve wait times or other reception area issues. 
  • Collect, verify, and document patient information including but limited to demographics, validation of identity, primary and secondary insurance, intake forms and prior authorizations.
  • Collect signatures on documents such as HIPAA privacy statement, consent forms, authorization for treatment and release of information.
  • Accurately identifies Fee Scale /Co-pay determinations. Collects and processes visit charges, co-pays, deductibles, previous cash balances and notices of overdue payments at time of visit.
  • Manage incoming phone calls, emails, messages, and referrals to completion and in a timely fashion.
  • Prepare for upcoming visits such as review of next day activities, visit reminders, document preparations, form completion and chart flags.
  • Performs appointing functions with accuracy and per patient or provider request, such as scheduling appointments, managing cancellations, re-schedules, visit cycles and wait lists.
  • Patient check-out duties such as next appointments, patient education hand-outs and instructions.
  • Maintain medical records with timely input of incoming scans, documents, or test results.
  • Works with healthcare team to assure smooth and efficient patient flow and operations. 
  • Participate in staff meetings and provide constructive input for improvements and solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
